Dr Samiul Islam
MBBS, MSc (Surgical Sciences), FRACS (Vascular Surgery)
Dr Islam completed his vascular surgery training in Australia and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). He offers contemporary, evidence-based vascular care, with careful consideration of each patient’s individual circumstances and treatment goals.
Prior to his move from the United Kingdom, Dr Islam had completed Masters in Surgical Skills & Sciences with Distinction from Barts & The London School of Medicine.
His training included appointments with vascular surgical departments in several prestigious tertiary hospitals across the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia.
Dr Islam has presented in multiple National and International vascular surgery conferences including The Charring Cross Symposium in London and scientific meetings of ANZ Society of Vascular Surgeons. He has published articles in The Annals of Vascular Surgery and the ANZ Journal of Vascular Surgery.
He has academic affiliations with The University of Notre Damme and Australian National University for teaching role at the medical schools.

Ms Donna Oomens
AMS DMU (vascular) FASA
Ms Oomens is a highly regarded specialist vascular sonographer, with decades of experience in complex vascular ultrasound imaging. Donna’s experience covers a broad range of vascular assessments, with a special interest in arterio-venous fistula imaging. She is passionate about sonographer training and professional development.
Ms Oomens has received multiple professional awards including an Australian Sonographers Association Fellowship, Sonographer of the Year (NSW) and Tutor of the Year. Donna has served on multiple professional committees and undertaken professional outreach to both Pakistan and Fiji.

Ms Gentry Winters
BSc (Podiatry) BA (Communications)
Ms Winters graduated with Bachelor of Science in Podiatry from the University of Newcastle in 2009 and has experience in all aspects of Podiatry, with her main area of interest being the high-risk foot, in particular the effects of diabetes on the feet and the area of limb salvage.
Ms Winters is a member the Advanced Practicing Podiatrists - High Risk Foot Group. She currently works in the High-Risk Foot Clinic at St George Hospital as well as in private practice. She previously spent 2 years at the Liverpool Hospital High Risk Foot Clinic.

Ms Kaya Bambara
Ms. Kaya Bambara is a dedicated Vascular Nurse who plays a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive perioperative care to patients undergoing complex vascular and endovascular procedures. With extensive clinical experience in high-dependency surgical wards, Kaya provides expert patient education, surgical preparation, and meticulous post-operative monitoring. She is deeply committed to ensuring patient safety and comfort, utilizing her specialized nursing skills to identify early signs of vascular complications and facilitate timely interventions. Her compassionate approach ensures that patients feel supported throughout their surgical journey, facilitating optimal clinical outcomes and safe transitions from the clinic to home care.

Ms Ada Hua
Ms. Ada Hua is a highly skilled Vascular Nurse with a strong background in acute care and outpatient clinical management. She assists directly in pre-operative assessments, specialized wound management, and rigorous post-operative surveillance, working closely with the surgical team to deliver seamless patient care. Ada is known for her exceptional clinical acumen and her dedication to patient education, particularly in helping patients understand the lifestyle modifications critical to managing conditions like peripheral arterial disease and chronic venous insufficiency. Her expertise ensures a consistently high standard of clinical excellence within the practice, empowering patients in their recovery.
